In the field of interventional radiology, pain management is expected to play a very significant role, not only now but also in the future.

A new conference dedicated to pain treatment has recently been launched. As its first meeting, a summit-style gathering was held with a relatively small number of participants to discuss its concept.

During the meeting, active discussions were held on the difficulties and current challenges in pain treatment, issues related to research in the interventional field, and the elements needed to expand pain management practice.

This summit was held in Vienna, Europe.
The conference is scheduled to be held annually in the future.
