Dr. Yuji Okuno invited as a speaker and instructor for GEST 2026 in Paris

GEST 2026 was held in Paris, France, on January 17th and 18th, 2026. This international symposium, now in its fourth year, focuses on musculoskeletal (MSK) embolization for arthritis—a treatment method originally developed by Dr. Yuji Okuno. Dr. Okuno was invited to the symposium and delivered several presentations.

In the session "Lower Limb: Sports Injuries and Others," he spoke on "Plantar Fasciitis (PF): How to diagnose (clinical examination, imaging)" and "Other sports injuries: Which patients? Which techniques?" Furthermore, in the "Adhesive Capsulitis (AC), Bursitis and Tendinopathies" session, he gave a lecture titled "Technique and choice of embolics."

In addition to his lectures, Dr. Okuno provided technical guidance during the hands-on sessions for physicians looking to implement this treatment in their own practices. His participation in this symposium was a valuable opportunity to share his extensive clinical experience and insights on an international stage.
