Dr. Okuno was invited to give lecturers at the SIR 2024 international conference in Salt Lake City

Dr. Yuji Okuno, Chief Director at Okuno Clinic, delivered invited lectures at the SIR 2024 conference, held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA from March 23rd to 28th.

Dr. Okuno gave five lectures, among which his presentation on Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) was particularly well-received, influenced by the fact that it has been two years since GAE was included in American insurance coverage.

Furthermore, nearly 40% of the attendees who participated in this lecture are already practicing transcatheter arterial micro-embolization (TAME) treatment for knee pain. This provided a moment of realization that the presence of TAME is indeed spreading among radiologists.
